What is Fashion Week?

Fashion is a sort of autonomy and self-expression in a certain situation and context and at a certain time, of clothes, footwear, accessories, makeup, hair style, body posture, and fashion accessories. In its broader sense, the word implies a trendy look defined as what is trendy at that time by the fashion industry. It usually refers to the way people dress or wear their accessories to be stylish. It also requires you to follow a certain code of behavior for example, to never talk ill about anyone, or steal the limelight from the others, or wear jeans to work even if it is against the dress code.

The word “fashion” came from the Latin term meaning fashionable. Later on, it became associated with the French word that means wearing or dressing up in an orderly manner. Some famous designers have contributed to the evolution of this word. Louis Comfort and Thomas Edison were regarded as the first designers who really sparked off the movement.

A designer is somebody who design clothes for both men and women, but it is more often the women who call the shots in terms of fashion trends. For men, fashion trends are usually related to what the rich and famous are wearing.
